Eligibility Requirements


Well, everything wonderful can't be too easy to obtain so there must be a few requiements that your page must meet in order to receive one of my awards.


1. The site must have more that one page.   In order to qualify for one of my awards, you need to have spent some time building your site...one page does not cut it.

2. It must be in English...this is the only language that I can read.   If I cannot read it then I cannot evaluate it.

3. It must be easy to navigate.   Requiring all of your visitors to use only next and back buttons to navigate your site is annoying...if this is the only way to navigate your site, I am out of there.

4. All java script and animations must work.

5. No pornographic, hate based or discriminatory sites need apply.

6. Credit must be given where credit is due.   If you use graphics, music, etc. from somone else you must declare it as such and have a link back to their page.

7. Your links must work.   Now of course, sometimes we webmasters miss a broken link, so a few are expected now and then, however if your site has more than a few, fix them before you ask me to evaluate your site.

8. Speaking of links...your site must contain more than just a list of links.

9. Spelling and grammar.   We all make typos while creating our sites, however if your site is full of them it shows carelessness.   Also, grammar counts, it shows class.   And third, absolutely no phonetic spelling...I cannot stand it.

10. Flash entrances must have a skip link.

11. And finally, most importantly, the award requested for consideration must be appropriate for your site.   Do not ask for consideration for the Genealogy award if your family tree site consists of a link to your cousin Stan in Georgia.

Terms of Use


1. The award may not be altered in any way.   Do not resize it or add anything to it.

2. The award must be linked back to my site.

3. You must enjoy showing it off!
